Narinder Singh Chauhan, a farmer from Uchana village in Jind district, has grown apples and almonds on 1.5 acres, impressing Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana. Minister Rana toured the farm, tasted the apples and lauded the farmer’s multi-purpose horticulture efforts, which also include mangoes, lychees, peach and pear.
