A Chandigarh court on Tuesday directed IAS officer Amneet P Kumar, wife of Haryana IPS officer Y Puran Kumar who allegedly died by suicide, to respond and identify her deceased husband's body for the purpose of post-mortem proceedings. "You (Amneet) are hereby directed to file a reply to the above-said application…either personally or through counsel on 15.10.2025," court said.
