Ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has dismissed suggestions that US-supported groups played an active role in regime change there. "I have seen no decisive evidence to suggest that foreign powers had any influence (on ouster)," said Hasina, adding that interim head Muhammad Yunus is "no longer popular among western liberals". Hasina has in 2024 blamed US for her removal.
