Bangladeshi envoy Hussain Khan stated that diplomatic ties with Pakistan have improved since ex-PM Sheikh Hasina's ouster in 2024. Both countries have resumed high-level contacts, trade, and cooperation, including visa relaxations, direct shipping, and academic exchanges. Notably, Sheikh Hasina fled to India after her dismissal in August last year and has been living there since then.
