MP High Court, which took suo motu cognisance after two newborns died following rat bites in Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital's NICU, asked why no FIR was filed. It directed PWD to assess building condition, drainage, and electrification. The infants, admitted with congenital anomalies, were later bitten, shifted elsewhere, and died days later, with the hospital denying rat bites as the cause.
