Bombay High Court issued order to protect playback singer Asha Bhosle from the unauthorised use of her identity by AI platforms, e-commerce sites, and other parties. The aforementioned entities are prohibited to use Bhosle's voice, image, or likeness without her explicit permission. The court said AI tools that replicate celebrity's voice without consent amounts to violation of identity rights.
