Delhi HC has upheld dismissal of Christian Army officer Samuel Kamalesan for refusing to attend a Pooja held as part of regimental parade. Court said he kept his religion above his superior's command, which amounted to indiscipline, adding, "Standard of discipline required for the Armed Forces is different." An officer distancing himself from parades may affect troops' morale, it added.
