Delhi High Court rejected written apology from TMC MP Saket Gokhale in defamation case filed by ex-diplomat Lakshmi Puri, noting that some of its oral observations were reproduced in affidavit. It also directed Gokhale to file fresh affidavit within a week and posted matter for July 22. He was earlier ordered to publicly apologise and pay ₹50 lakh in damages.
