Madras High Court ordered Sony Music Entertainment India Pvt Ltd to disclose revenue earned from "commercial exploitation" of composer Ilaiyaraaja's music. Previously, Ilaiyaraaja alleged that Sony Music exploited his work across digital platforms and streaming services without adhering to the Copyright (Amendment) Act, 2012. He claimed they failed to pay legally mandated share of royalties.
