The Bombay High Court (HC) on Thursday clarified that it hadn't issued any order to close 'kabutarkhanas' (pigeon-feeding spots) in Mumbai, but had merely declined to stay the municipal corporation's closure order. The court said an expert panel will be formed to examine whether the old 'kabutarkhanas' in the city should continue. This comes amid ongoing protests over the issue.
