The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported killing Ahmed Muhammad Fahd, the head of a Hamas network in southern Syria, in an overnight airstrike. Fahd was responsible for organising attacks on Israeli troops, particularly rocket fire on the Golan Heights. The IDF stated that he was eliminated while planning another imminent terror attack, according to The Times of Israel.
