Heavy rain in Karnataka has triggered a flood threat as the Krishna River swelled, with villages along the riverbank under threat. Following the release of 1.60 lakh cusecs from Narayanpur reservoir, the Sheelhalli bridge submerged. Heavy rainfall in Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, and Uttar Kannada caused damage to houses. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a yellow alert for moderate to heavy rains.
