Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the Iranian attack on US' Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar was a "heavy slap to the US' face". He said "such an action can be repeated in the future", adding, "Should any aggression occur, the enemy will definitely pay a heavy price." Al Udeid was attacked after US bombed Iranian nuclear sites.
