The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall warning for 14 states/UTs for Monday (September 8). It is very likely over parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Uttarakhand.
