The Maharashtra government will soon launch toll-free numbers for consumers to register complaints against food e-commerce platforms like Swiggy, Zomato, and Zepto. The state's Food and Drug Administration Minister, Narhari Zirwal said 43 e-commerce establishments and warehouses were inspected. Many were found to be storing expired food items and operating in unhygienic conditions, Zirwal added.
