Perplexity AI Co-founder and CEO Aravind Srinivas reacted to his AI startup's Comet browser becoming free to use for all worldwide, saying, "O hey hi Google Chrome." In another post, Srinivas stated any Perplexity query on Comet will be "a lot faster than...on another browser". In August, Perplexity AI made an unsolicited $34.5 billion bid to buy Chrome browser.
