The UP government has directed police administration to remain on high alert across all seven border districts amid protests in Nepal. The districts are Shravasti, Balrampur, Bahraich, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj. At least 22 people have been killed in the clashes between protesters and security forces in Nepal amid protests against corruption and social media ban.
