The Punjab and Haryana High Court has given the State of Punjab two weeks to respond to a petition filed for anticipatory bail by former state minister Bikram Singh Majithia. The Bench also put the state on notice for September 23. The plea is in connection with a case registered on July 31 in Amritsar.
