A high level committee has been formed by government to investigate the Air India crash in Ahmedabad. It will ascertain the root cause of the crash and will assess contributing factors, including mechanical failure, human error, weather conditions, regulatory compliances and other reasons. The report of the committee, which will recommend necessary improvements, will be published in three months.
