NCP(SP) chief Sharad Pawar reacted to the Mahayuti alliance's victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Calling it a "people's decision", Sharad said, "Women's participation in large numbers could be the reason for Mahayuti sweep in Maharashtra polls." Referring to MVA's defeat, Pawar said, "We were more confident after Lok Sabha results, it seems we needed to work more."
