The Himachal Pradesh SDMA reported 419 deaths in the 2025 monsoon season till September 17, including 237 rain-related fatalities and 182 road accident deaths. There's a massive property loss of over ₹4,59,536 lakh. The state recorded 145 landslides, 98 flash floods, and 46 cloudbursts, with Lahaul-Spiti, Shimla, Kullu, and Mandi among the worst-affected districts.
