The Himachal Pradesh Government is considering enacting strict laws to regulate construction activities in the state to ensure citizen safety from natural hazards, following recent natural calamities like cloud bursts, rains and landslides. The Supreme Court had also issued a stern warning to the state government about the dire environmental situation in Himachal Pradesh.
