From August 14 to 16, Himachal Pradesh will host its first-ever Zero Waste Tribal Festival in Keylong. The event will ban plastic bottles and disposable cutlery. Instead, pattal (leaf plates), biodegradable spoons and reusable cups will be used, and water stations will be set up. Cloth banners will replace plastic and marked bins for waste segregation will dot the grounds.
