Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta Group company, will construct India's first zinc tailings reprocessing plant at its Rampura Agucha Mine in Rajasthan. Costing ₹3,823 crore with a 10 MTPA capacity, the plant aims to extract zinc and silver from waste, supporting the company's production goals and "doubling" strategy. It's part of a broader ₹12,000 crore expansion plan.
