BJP leader Bhupender Yadav said that remark of RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale asking for removal of words "socialist" and "secular" from the Preamble of the Indian Constitution are "his personal views." Bhupender stated, "The intentions behind bringing the 42nd amendment was to change the basic structure of the Constitution." Socialist and Secular were added under the 42nd amendment.
