A Hong Kong judge on Wednesday ruled in favour of transgender individuals' rights to access public toilets matching their identity. The judge struck down the provision prohibiting people from entering public toilets marked for the opposite sex, with exceptions for children under age 5. The judge stated, "Drawing the line of a person's biological sex at birth creates...intrusion into privacy."
