Congress leader Shashi Tharoor suggested that the BJP-led NDA consult the Opposition before nominating its candidate for the post of Vice President. He said that, as only the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha form the Electoral College for this election, it's clear that the next VP will be from the ruling party due to their majority in the Houses.
