Supreme Court, while hearing a plea against the UP government's order to mandate QR codes at eateries along Kanwar Yatra route, ordered restaurants to display their license and registration as mandated. The court clarified that it's not going to address the issue of QR code mandate for now. QR codes were mandated to reveal names of the owners of restaurants.
