Bombay High Court set aside an Income Tax notice issued to a Mumbai woman following a joint ownership with her husband in a ₹6.75 crore property deal. She was made a joint owner of the property purchased entirely with her husband’s funds. HC observed that the woman, a housewife, had made no financial contribution to the purchase, ET Wealth reported.
