A new report by Greenpeace India and local fishing associations, released on Tuesday, 16 September, estimates that the average household in Pulluvila, in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala has been losing ₹25,000–₹35,000 every month since a shipwreck devastated local fishing areas.
