The government allows people whose bank account is linked to their UPI ID to withdraw cash from ATMs without using debit cards. At UPI-supported ATMs, users must select 'UPI cash withdrawal', choose desired withdrawal amount and then scan the QR code generated by the ATM using any UPI app. Select the account and enter the UPI PIN to authorise transaction.
