Sheikh Hasina fled Bangladesh in August using a Bangladesh Air Force plane, designated as 'training flight', local media reported. The plane switched off its transponders, which transmit details like the plane's code, altitude, speed and location, while in Bangladesh. It first flew towards Kolkata and then changed course to Delhi to ensure it spent least possible time in Bangladeshi airspace.
