Process of identifying plane crash victims through DNA sampling is underway in Ahmedabad. DNA sampling involves collecting and analysing a person's DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) to identify them, experts said. It can be extracted from remains like bone or teeth, even in extreme conditions like high heat/explosions. Experts then match them with reference DNA provided by victims' close family members.
