India's trade agreement with UK is expected to boost export of labour-intensive items such as gems, jewellery, textiles, marine products, leather, footwear, sports goods and toys. Tariff concessions for Indian tea, spices will improve market access. From UK's perspective, it'll lead to substantial cuts in tariffs. The deal will make it easier for companies to sell whisky, automobiles to India.
