People in space communicate with people on Earth with the help of radio waves through transmitters and receivers. A transmitter converts the message into a signal which is sent through radio waves. Then, the receiver receives the signal and converts it again into the message. Several 230-feet-wide antennas are installed across the world to receive these signals, making communication possible.
