Analysis of US tariffs shows that India faces a higher tariff rate of 25% than countries like Vietnam (20%), Indonesia (19%), Japan (15%), and EU (15%). Among 27 countries tracked, Brazil (50%), Myanmar (40%), Bangladesh and Canada (35% each), and some others face tariffs equal to or higher than India, News18 reported. India also faces a penalty alongside the tariff.
