Operation Black Forest is a military operation conducted by Indian security forces against Naxalite insurgents in areas located between the states of Chhattisgarh and Telangana. It has significantly weakened Naxal strongholds, marking a major push toward Naxal Mukt Bharat. Home Minister Amit Shah highlighted that in 2025 alone, 270 Naxals were neutralised, 680 arrested, and 1,225 surrendered.
