As per reports, US has around 70 submarines, while Russia has around 63. American Navy has Ohio-class Ballistic Missile Submarines, known for stealth capabilities and precise nuclear warhead delivery, and three classes of nuclear-powered fast-attack submarines. Russia's Borei-class submarines can fire anti-submarine rockets and bottom mines, while it has two classes of fast attack submarines.
