Bike taxi drivers in Karnataka are now using WhatsApp to bypass a government ban on their operations. The drivers confirm if parcel deliveries are a guise to book bike taxis and then ask the customers to cancel the booking and directly coordinate via WhatsApp. They're now sending their live locations to customers and offering rides at same rates as earlier.
