Before he resigned as Vice-President, Jagdeep Dhankhar mentioned an Opposition-sponsored notice to remove Justice Yashwant Varma, from whose house burnt cash was recovered. He also administered the oath to newly elected and nominated members of the Rajya Sabha on the first day of the Monsoon Session, and chaired a business advisory committee meeting. He resigned on Monday night.
