For counting of votes for Vice President election, all ballot papers are sorted and then Election Commission officials will sort valid and invalid ballot papers. The quota to decide winner will be determined based on number of valid votes counted. The candidate who receives first-preference votes exceeding quota will be declared winner. The election will take place on September 9.
