Export sector fixed-term workers will receive gratuity, provident fund and other social security benefits under the newly implemented Labour Codes. All workers in the sector will also have the option of availing annual leaves after 180 days of work in a year. Additionally, the codes enable timely wage payment and bar unauthorised wage deductions.
