With the two-slab GST structure, GST on motorcycles upto 350cc will be down from 28% to 18%, which may make them cheaper. Motorcycles above 350cc will attract 40% GST. Mid-size and big cars may get cheaper as their combined GST and compensation cess of 45-50% has been cut to flat 40%. Bicycles may also get cheaper with reduced 5% GST.
