US President Donald Trump-led administration has proposed an overhaul of the H-1B lottery system days after hiking the visa fee to $100,000, as per a Federal Register notice. Under this, higher-skilled and higher-paid foreign workers will be favoured. Moreover, applicants will be placed into four wage levels, with the top level (earning $162,528 annually) getting four entries, Bloomberg reported.
