Delhi High Court held that a husband can't claim exclusive ownership of a property jointly acquired and registered in name of both spouses, merely on the basis that he paid EMIs. It said the sale proceeds should be equally divided. It was hearing a case of a couple who jointly purchased a house in Mumbai and later filed for divorce.
