A tragic murder-suicide at a private hospital in Pattom in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram, shocked locals after 73-year-old Bhasuran killed his ailing wife Jayanthi (62) and then ended his own life. Jayanthi, a kidney patient, had been under treatment since October 1. Police suspect financial difficulties led to the tragedy. Their daughter confirmed the family was facing severe money troubles.
