Hyderabad Police busted a surrogacy racket where a baby was bought from a poor couple for ₹90,000 and sold as an IVF child for ₹35 lakh. The illegal clinic, run by Dr Athaluri Namratha, forged documents to cheat hopeful parents. Eight people, including the clinic owner, have been arrested for trafficking, forgery, and exploitation. Investigation is ongoing.
