A 14-year-old boy in Hyderabad has been arrested for allegedly murdering a 10-year-old neighbour over a cricket bat. The girl was found dead in her house on 18 August with nearly 20 stab wounds. According to police, the teen, a Class 10 student, jumped over the wall into the victim’s house to steal a cricket bat belonging to her brother.
