Russia has begun mass production of the Oreshnik intermediate-range hypersonic missile, President Putin announced, calling it effective in combat. First used in Ukraine in November 2024, the missile reportedly has a 5,500 km range and near-impossible interception. Putin warned of further strikes if Ukraine continues Western-armed attacks.
