World chess champion Gukesh D suffered loss to Armenian-American Grandmaster Levon Aronian on Day 1 of Saint Louis Rapid and Blitz tournament, part of the Grand Chess tour. Aronian said he had won the game against Gukesh despite playing "grandpa style of chess" (slow, positional style of chess). "You are not impressing anybody with this type of play," he added.
